About Ashlee
Ashlee Chisholm is a recent graduate ofTemple Universitywhere she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in strategic and organizational communications with a concentration in public relations. She was an active member in the university community by: writing articles for the Public Relations Student Society of America’s (PRSSA) newsletter, working on a communications campaign for Fairmount Park’s Summer of Love concert series, and leading group projects.
In 2009, she interned with theFederal Reserve Bank of Philadelphiaand later teamed up with two colleagues to promote Reinventing Older Communities, a national community development conference. Ashlee immersed herself into all promotional aspects of the conference by drafting media advisories, effective pitch letters, comprehensive media strategies, and building relationships with reporters. The conference attracted 400 professionals and was covered in top tier media outlets such as thePhiladelphia Inquirerand theNew York Times. Prior to this internship, she worked withCouncil for Relationships,College Magazine, and PRowl Public Relations.
During her leisure, Ashlee stays abreast of growing trends in communications and freelances. She is currently seeking full-time employment where she can create mutually beneficial relationships between a company and their targeted audiences.
